LOVEwork Sculpture
A part of the "Virginia is for Lovers" tourism project, the town of Leesburg Commission on Public Arts supported by FOLPA initiated the "LOVEwork" sculpture, bike themed project. The metal sculpture designed by Mike Clay, artist and metal fabricator from Lovettesville, is composed entirely of bicycle parts donated by Plum Grove (Re)Cyclery. It is 7 feet high and 17 feet wide it is installed at the corner of Harrison street and the W&OD Trail. A dedication ceremony was held on May 20, 2017 at Raflo Park with a "pop-up arts" event hosted by FOLPA.
